2022 was the best year ever with our band. We had so many memorable gigs and wonderful clients — how can we top it in 2023? We look forward to finding out! We performed in all kinds of special places and unique venues. Some are just getting their start, some are hidden gems, and some are simply old reliables. The California Botanic Garden, Claremont, CA
The greatest thing about playing at the California Botanic Garden is the California Botanic Garden. It is so peaceful. From the moment you arrive, you are in amongst the trees and away from the hustle and bustle of life. The air somehow feels fresher and you feel more invigorated. Simply put, we love this venue and everything it provides. Also, for catering, you cannot go wrong with As You Like It Events & Catering. Rachel is a consummate pro and you will feel in good hands with her guidance, expertise, and delicious food!

Descanso Beach Club, Catalina Island, CA
We performed this lovely destination wedding for a spectacular couple, Daione & James, at Descanso Beach Club on Catalina Island. This fully equipped venue with sweeping views of the ocean, full catering, a ballroom, and excellent staff is such a charming spot for a destination wedding or corporate retreat! Not to mention Catalina is a fun little island with quaint shops and restaurants. We even found a Katie’s Kitchen!

The Langham Hotel, PasadEna, CA
When I think of luxury and elegance, I think of the classic Langham Hotel in Pasadena. It’s the best of both worlds with lovely botanic gardens and beautiful vintage ballrooms. We had the honor of performing for this fabulous couple, Nancy & George. It was a romantic evening and the hotel looked its best with all the trimmings! This 80th birthday party for the delightful Bettijune was an exceptional event all around from start to finish. The location was incredible - the Warner Bros Lot was all decked out with lights, a red carpet, and the Birthday Girl’s name in lights on the marquee. The Casablanca theme truly looked like a magical movie set. Bettijune’s friends came from far and wide to celebrate with her and the night could not have gone better. It was a pleasure working with Warner Bros as they provided a thoroughly professional sound team to take care of us. The guests were dancing and smiling into the night. The staff dressed the part to add to the ambiance and all in all it was a night to remember!

Catalina Jazz Club, Hollywood, ca
What an honor it was to play at the world-famous Catalina Jazz Club! We saw my Dad, Johnny perform here years ago with Lynda Carter, and being here on this night brought back many good memories of family and music. We were hired for a private event by a Romanian cultural group. The evening included jazz by The Secret Jazz Band as well as performers playing traditional Romanian songs. The crowd was amazing to us - they danced and enjoyed the music very much. The stage sounded awesome and the band played with inspired energy. It was a night of good vibrations - good music, a great crowd, delicious food, and amazing staff!

We always feel very fortunate when we get a call to play an event at House of Blues. It is a top-shelf venue with a top-shelf staff. You will be in good hands with Vanessa and her crew. Tell her The Secret Jazz Band sent you! We have had the good fortune to play here several times over the years. The sound is superb, the food always hits the spot and the vibes are always good! With the pictures all around you of all the legendary musicians we know and love, it reminds you to always play from your heart and honor your craft.
